Abigail & Conor’s Stunning Wedding in Sligo
Abigail and Conor’s wedding day was a beautiful celebration of love, laughter, and family – set against some of Sligo’s most iconic wedding locations. From the preparations at the elegant Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa Sligo, to their heartfelt ceremony at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, and finally the breathtaking portraits at Rosses Point, every moment was a joy to capture as their Sligo wedding photographer.
The morning began in the stylish suites of the Radisson Blu Hotel Sligo, where Abigail and her bridesmaids shared an atmosphere of excitement and fun. With soft natural light filling the room, it was the perfect setting for bridal prep photos – capturing those special details like the dress, bouquet, and all the laughter that comes with getting ready surrounded by loved ones.
The couple’s ceremony took place in the magnificent Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Sligo town, a venue that always feels timeless and grand. The cathedral’s stunning architecture provided an incredible backdrop as Abigail and Conor exchanged vows. Photographing the ceremony here is always a privilege – the light, scale, and atmosphere create images full of emotion and beauty.
After the ceremony, we made our way to Rosses Point, one of my favourite spots for wedding photography in Sligo. The dramatic coastline, sweeping beaches, and views of Benbulben create such a unique backdrop for romantic couple portraits. Abigail and Conor were a joy to photograph here – relaxed, happy, and simply enjoying those first moments together as newlyweds.
The celebrations continued back at the Radisson Blu Sligo, where family and friends gathered to enjoy a warm welcome, delicious food, and an unforgettable evening of speeches, dancing, and laughter. The Radisson’s elegant ballroom and stunning grounds made the perfect setting to round off a day filled with love.
