Flying over from the USA with their closest family and friends, they chose Northern Ireland as the backdrop for their destination wedding – and Belle Isle could not have been a more magical setting. As their Fermanagh wedding photographer, it was a joy to capture a day full of love, laughter, and unforgettable moments.

Nestled on the shores of Lough Erne, Belle Isle Castle and Estate is one of Fermanagh’s most enchanting wedding venues. With its historic stone walls, lush gardens, and breathtaking lake views, it offers couples a fairytale setting for their celebrations. For Peter and Kate, who wanted their guests to experience something truly unique during their trip to Ireland, Belle Isle was the perfect choice.

The ceremony took place within the grounds of Belle Isle Estate, surrounded by family and friends who had travelled all the way from the United States to be part of this special day. The atmosphere was emotional, heartfelt, and filled with the joy of two families coming together in one of Northern Ireland’s most beautiful settings.

After the ceremony, we explored the castle grounds and lakeside views for couple portraits. Belle Isle is a dream location for wedding photography – from the elegant castle backdrops to quiet, hidden corners by the water. Peter and Kate were so natural in front of the camera, enjoying every moment together as newlyweds, and the laughter between them made the photos effortless.
